Directed by Jevon Whetter, Flash Before the Bang is inspired by the true story of an all-deaf high school track and field team. Led by a deaf coach at the troubled Oregon School for the Deaf, the unlikely heroes overcome adversity and discrimination to seize a seemingly impossible and unprecedented victory at the 1986 Oregon State Track and Field Championship.

The shots that we were fortunate enough to work on within the Academy of Art for Flash Before the Bang were a valuable experience in the compositing pipeline; and I really felt the impact of the powerful message every step of the way.
